Job summary

Omnitel seeks a detail-oriented Data Analyst to join our team remotely from Spain on a part-time basis. You will analyze sales data and create dashboards that drive business decisions, ensuring insights are clear and actionable.

The role offers a flexible afternoon schedule (~3:00 PM to 7:00 PM CET) and requires fluent English communication to collaborate with international teams.

Qualifications

• Proven hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI (including Power Query and M transformations).

• Strong end-to-end data analysis and data visualization skills.
• Advanced English communication skills (written and spoken).
• Fully remote, based in Spain.

Job description

For one of our main clients Omnitel is seeking a detail-oriented and communicative Part-time Data Analyst to join the team remotely from anywhere in Spain. In this role, you will analyze large datasets---specifically focused on sales data---to extract meaningful insights and create visual dashboards that drive business decisions.

Work Schedule: Part-time (~3:00 PM to 7:00 PM CET)

Location: 100% Remote (Must be based in Spain)

Salary range: 14K - 15K (brutos anuales por 20 horas a la semana).

Key Responsibilities

• Query, extract, and manipulate data from relational databases using advanced SQL.
• Design, build, and maintain interactive reports and dashboards in Power BI.
• Perform data transformations and automated workflows using Power Query and M language.
• Analyze sales data and large, complex datasets to identify trends, anomalies, and key performance drivers.
• Translate technical data insights into clear, actionable recommendations for stakeholders.

Key Requirements

• Technical Expertise: Proven hands-on experience with SQL and Power BI (including Power Query and M transformations).
• Data & Business Acumen: Strong experience working with sales data and large datasets.
• Analytical Mindset: Demonstrated ability to perform end-to-end data analysis and data visualization.
• Languages: Advanced/Fluent English (both written and spoken) is required, as you will communicate extensively in English.
• Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to articulate data findings effectively.
• Location: Fully remote, available to candidates residing anywhere in Spain.
