Job summary

Kansas City Public Schools is seeking a Part-time Data Analyst to collect, analyze, clean, display and report data from internal data systems such as Infinite Campus for state reporting.

You will audit data points, improve data integrity, and support schools and departments entering data, while building relationships with DESE core data teams and handling multiple tasks in a changing environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in education, computer science, technology, or a research-related field.
• Three years’ experience with management and analysis of large data sets.
• Three years’ experience with relational databases and working knowledge of related software packages.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheets and graphics.
• Ability to function independently provided minimal direction.
• Good written and oral communication skills.
• Well developed, documented, problem solving skills.
• Demonstrated ability to meet priority assignments and task deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to handle many concurrent tasks in a changing environment.
• Competency in navigation on the Internet and use of information search engines.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality in work-related areas.
