Job summary

FedEx Logistics in Cheyenne is seeking a part-time Dangerous Goods Agent to ensure safe and legal handling of dangerous goods and related paperwork, with spill cleanup responsibilities. The role supports compliance with FMCSA guidance and requires basic training in dangerous goods procedures.

The position is driving-related and part-time, with afternoon hours 1:30pm–6:00pm. A High School Diploma or GED is required, and prior safety or shipping experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Six months of related station, ramp, hub or safety experience preferred.
• Experience with computer systems (mainframe, PC, internet) preferred.
• Knowledge of shipping or processing dangerous goods strongly preferred.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and operate with assistance/equipment as needed.
• Ability to read and speak English sufficiently for safety communications.

Responsibilities

• Ensures safe and legal handling of dangerous goods and related paperwork; to perform safe spill clean up ensuring personnel and equipment are free from contamination.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
