Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent; Master’s degree preferred.
• Three years of experience teaching dance.
• Professional dance performance experience.
• Ability to motivate students and inspire love of dance.
• Proven success with young dancers in group settings.
• Strong interpersonal communication: verbal, non-verbal, written.
• Professional demeanor and boundaries with students, parents and staff.
• Willing to collaborate and learn from teaching colleagues.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development.
• Ability to take direction and respond to feedback from supervisors.
• Maintain professionalism in attendance, timeliness, conduct and appearance.
