Job summary

Williamson County Parks and Recreation is seeking part-time Dance Instructors & Assistants to teach age-appropriate dance techniques and maintain a positive classroom environment. You will follow all program policies, choreograph recitals, and communicate professionally with participants, parents, and staff.

Classes run August through May with additional summer camp opportunities. Applicants must be at least 16, undergo a background check, and demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and strong

Qualifications

• Dance training or teaching experience preferred.
• Experience working with children is a plus.
• Reliable, punctual, and professional.
• Ability to foster a welcoming, encouraging, and safe learning environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Teach age-appropriate dance technique and class curriculum for assigned styles and skill levels.
• Create a positive, safe, and engaging classroom environment while maintaining appropriate class management.
• Follow all program policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.
• Choreograph and prepare recital performances.
• Attend required instructor meetings and training sessions.
• Communicate professionally with participants, parents, and staff.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
