Job summary

United Natural Foods, Inc. (UNFI) is seeking team-oriented staff for a Cub store in Minnesota. You will stock aisles, build displays, and help customers locate products while supporting cashiers with price checks and replacements.

Daily duties include assisting customers, answering phones, and following department policies. The role requires long periods of standing, heavy lifting, and varied shifts including nights and weekends, in a fast-paced grocery setting.

Qualifications

• Operate equipment safely (hand jack, power jack, box cutter, flat bed, compactor, broom, mop).
• Able to walk long distances and stand for long periods.
• Basic reading, writing and math skills.
• Frequent customer interaction delivering prompt, courteous service.
• Good judgment when supervision may not be available.
• Follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; request supplies as needed.
• Ability to work varying shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years old.

Job Requirements:

• Memorization, reading, writing and math.
• The position requires on-going customer interaction, providing prompt, courteous and accurate service.
• Good judgment is required for this position as there may be times when direct supervision may not be immediately available.
• Have the ability to understand and follow verbal or demonstrated instructions; write identifying information; request supplies verbally or in writing.
• Must be able to work shifts varying in length and time, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Must be 16 years old.

Physical Requirements:

• Lifting/carrying up to 70 lbs.
• Pushing/pulling up to 2500 lbs.

Schedule:

• Varied weekly shifts between 10:00am - 9:00pm
