Job summary

Fastenal Co. is seeking a Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support to help manage onsite customer operations, inventory, and order processing at our Cudahy facility. This entry-level role offers onboarding, training, and potential flexible scheduling after ramp-up.

The position emphasizes customer service, teamwork, and the ability to handle physically light to moderate tasks within a supply chain setting.

Qualifications

• Age 18 or older as required for the role.
• Degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent industry experience.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficient computer skills with basic office software.
• Strong math aptitude, attention to detail and urgency.
• Motivated, self-directed and customer-service minded.
• Comfortable in a sales-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and coordinate resources.
• Manage inventory and place/fulfill orders.
• Receive and ship inventory and ensure accurate fulfillment.
• Quote new and existing products and support improvements.
• Monetize and report value of supply chain activities.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
