Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Caledonia, MI is seeking a part-time Customer Supply Chain Support to assist with inventory, orders, and shipment activities at the onsite customer store. You will coordinate resources, manage inventory, place and fulfill orders, and support continuous improvement initiatives.

The role is entry-level with potential for flexible scheduling after onboarding, training, and performance goals, combining hands-on operations with customer service in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• 18 years of age or older, per job posting.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or related experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
• Proficient computer skills and attention to detail.
• Sales-oriented mindset and teamwork mindset.
• Ability to lift 25–50 lbs, up to 75 lbs in some cases.

Responsibilities

• Responding and coordinating resources relative to customer requests.
• Managing inventory and placing/fulfilling orders.
• Receiving and shipping inventory and performing fulfillment at the customer facility.
• Sourcing and quoting new and existing products.
• Participating in continuous improvement and implementing new processes.
• Monetizing and reporting value of supply chain activities to the customer.
