Job summary

Fastenal Co. in Ocala, FL is seeking a Part-time Customer Supply Chain Support to assist with inventory, orders, and shipping within the client facility. This entry-level role focuses on building foundations in customer relationship management and operations.

You will work MON-FRI 7:00am-5:00pm, up to 28 hours per week, with opportunities for schedule flexibility after onboarding and performance goals are met; training provided; benefits include a 401(k) plan.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and legally eligible to work in the US.
• Pursuing or holding a degree in Supply Chain/Operations Management or equivalent experience.
• Strong written and verbal communication, math aptitude, and computer skills.
• Willingness to lift 25–50 lbs and pass the drug screen (where required).

Responsibilities

• Respond to customer requests and coordinate resources.
• Manage inventory and place/fulfill orders.
• Receive and ship inventory; perform inventory fulfillment.
• Source and quote products; participate in process improvements.
• Monetize and report the value of supply chain activities to the customer.
