Job summary

Dollar Tree in Colorado Springs is seeking a Customer Service Associate to join our team and deliver a friendly shopping experience. As a part-time associate, you will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, maintain store appearance, stock shelves, and support store operations while upholding safety and courtesy for customers and colleagues.

You will follow instructions, lift up to 50 lbs, and contribute to a positive, efficient environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. from floor to above shoulder height and meet demands of frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling, and repetitive lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register
• Maintain cash register security and protect assets
• Keep store well-stocked and recover merchandise
• Receive merchandise and assist with unloading trucks
• Ensure a clean, safe, and respectful environment
• Other duties as assigned
