Job summary

Dollar Tree Stores in Mendota, CA is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle transactions, and help stock and maintain the store environment.

The role emphasizes customer service, accuracy at the register, and maintaining a clean, organized store while following instructions and protecting assets. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; part-time hours may apply.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing, pulling.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks and stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store including bathrooms, floors, trash, and presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
