Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of Texas LLC in Midland, TX is seeking a part-time retail associate to assist customers, process transactions, and keep the store welcoming and stocked. You will handle cash with care, unload shipments, maintain cleanliness, and uphold safety standards while delivering friendly service to shoppers and colleagues.

Experience in customer service is preferred; you should be able to lift 30–50 lbs and follow store procedures to support daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail or similar environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and handle physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment for customers and team.
• Maintain store cleanliness, bathrooms, floors, and trash.
• Other duties as assigned.
