Job summary

The Customer Service Support position serves an essential role in the Customer Service experience at Applejack Wine & Spirits. The Customer Service Support Staff is responsible in providing fast and friendly customer service, directing phone calls, helping as a back-up cashier, and assisting all customers at the Service Desk.

Qualifications

• 1-3 years of customer service experience.
• Ability to use technology applicable to the position.
• Dress and present self in a clean and professional manner.
• Strong ability to multi-task in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Proactively approach customers to identify their needs.
• Direct customers through checkout lanes to minimize long lines.
• Maintain a positive attitude in a fast-paced retail environment.
• Receive and direct customer phone calls.
• Assist Customers to different areas of the store as needed.
• Align with company programs to drive consumer loyalty.
• Maintain store safety standards and store cleanliness.
• Assist with Point of Sale.
• Verify customer identification in order to adhere to policies for serving minors.
• Process transactions efficiently.
• Balance a register drawer and accurately handle cash, check, and credit card transactions.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Must pass background check
• Ability to stand and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 40-60 lbs.
• Ability to accommodate a flexible schedule which includes nights, weekends, and holidays
