Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a part-time customer service teammate who will operate the cash register, assist at the customer service counter, and help ensure accurate handling of funds while delivering a pleasant shopping experience.

When not assigned as a floor monitor, you may perform duties as a cashier and bagger, support the floor team, and help maintain store safety and customer satisfaction.

Qualifications

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in required training and work with the team to increase customer satisfaction.
• Ability to read and comprehend instructions in English and present information to customers and associates.
• Ability to do basic arithmetic with U.S. currency.

Responsibilities

• Operate the cash register accurately and efficiently.
• Provide services at the customer service counter.
• Maintain security and control of all funds in the cash register.
• Perform duties of floor monitor when not assigned to be on-duty.
• Perform cashier and bagger duties when appropriate.
