Job summary

Harris Teeter is seeking a full-time associate to take excellent care of customers by meeting their needs, exceeding expectations, and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience. Duties include operating the cash register, assisting at the service counter, and performing floor monitor tasks when not on duty.

Candidates should have strong communication skills, be able to read and follow English instructions, and handle currency accurately.

Qualifications

• Strong customer service skills and ability to communicate clearly.
• Ability to read and follow simple instructions in English.
• Ability to perform basic math and handle currency accurately.
• Must be at least 16 years old and able to complete training.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and process transactions.
• Assist customers at service counter and respond to inquiries.
• Perform floor monitor duties when not on duty and assist cashier as needed.
• Maintain security and control of funds in the cash register.
• Assist with bagging and other duties as required.
