Job summary

Harris Teeter in Wilmington, NC is seeking a part-time cashier to take excellent care of customers, operate the cash register accurately, and provide services at the customer service counter while keeping funds secure.

You may be assigned to cover floor monitor duties, cashier and bagger as needed. This role requires strong communication, willingness to train, English literacy, and the ability to stand and lift up to 25 pounds.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 16 years old.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to read and write English.
• Basic math skills for making change.
• Willingness to participate in required training.
• Complete company training including new hire orientation.

Responsibilities

• Operate cash register accurately and efficiently.
