Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to join our Warrenton, NC store. You will assist customers, handle transactions at the register, keep areas neat, stock merchandise, and help unload trucks while maintaining a safe and friendly shopping environment.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent (preferred) and prior retail or customer service experience is valued. You must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks as needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform climbing, bending, and standing.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and colleagues.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, bathrooms, floors, and overall presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
