Dollar Tree Stores INC in Spearfish, SD is seeking a part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, manage transactions, stock shelves, and maintain a clean, secure store.

You will greet customers, answer questions, assist with unloading trucks, and keep a safe, friendly environment while following store procedures. Prior retail or service experience is preferred; a high school diploma or equivalent is desirable.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs. and handle frequent walking, standing, stooping, kneeling, climbing, pushing and pulling.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks; stock replenishment.
• Maintain a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and associates.
• Keep the store clean, including bathrooms, floors, trash, and neat presentation.
• Other duties as assigned.
