Job summary

The GIANT Company is seeking a store team member to bag items at checkout, stock returns and coolers, retrieve carts, vacuum the front-end, restock coolers, and collect trash. As a member of our team, you’ll help support a large, community-focused retail network across PA, MD, VA, WV, and NJ.

Qualifications

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
• Must be able to communicate and understand company policies and safety regulations.
• Must meet ergonomic and physical requirements for the position.
• Must be able to use or learn to use the equipment and tools used to perform this job.
• Must meet company performance standards including regular attendance.
• Must complete the introductory period of 30 or 60 days.
• Must be able to perform all job functions safely.
• Must wear the proper assigned clothes and shoes for the job.

Responsibilities

• Review the work schedule at the start of shift and prepare for duties.
• Collect trash, operate the compactor, and maintain cleanliness.
• Keep floors and work areas clean and perform hourly clean-ups.
• Collect and push carts to the front-end area.
• Demonstrate good customer service skills.
• Complete other duties as assigned by management.
