Job summary

Family Dollar Stores Of South Carolina LLC in Summerville, SC is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver friendly service, process transactions, and maintain store appearance. You will assist customers, stock shelves, unload trucks, and uphold security and cash handling standards.

The role requires a high school diploma (preferred) and retail or service experience. Candidates should be reliable, organized, and able to lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment in accordance with productivity standards.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment while maintaining professional and friendly interactions with customers, associates, and leaders.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms, floors, and trash, and ensure all areas are neat and presentable.
• Other duties as assigned.
