Job summary

Dollar Tree in Seffner, FL is seeking a Part-time Customer Service Associate to help customers, ring up orders, maintain store cleanliness, and stock shelves. You will assist customers with questions and recommendations, handle cash register transactions, and ensure a safe, friendly shopping experience for all.

Successful candidates will have a high school diploma or equivalent, prior retail or service experience, and the ability to lift 30–50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment is highly preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift between 30 and 50 lbs and perform physical tasks.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills are required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills are required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills are required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions while working assigned cash register.
• Maintain security of cash and protect company assets.
• Keep the store well-stocked, and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help with unloading trucks, stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, and respectful environment with customers and staff.
• Maintain cleanliness throughout the store, including bathrooms and floors.
• Other duties as assigned.
