Job summary

Dollar Tree is seeking a Customer Service Associate to deliver a great shopping experience. You will assist customers, handle sales at the register, and help maintain a secure, clean, and stocked store.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent and prior retail or service experience. This role requires physical effort and excellent interpersonal skills for positive customer interactions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Previous customer service experience in retail, hotel, restaurant, grocery, or drug store environment preferred.
• Ability to follow instructions and interpret operational documents is required.
• Must be able to lift 30–50 lbs and perform physical tasks including walking, standing, bending, and lifting.
• Excellent customer service and relationship management skills required.
• Strong organizational and communication skills required.
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills required.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers with questions and recommendations.
• Manage sales transactions at the cash register.
• Maintain cash security and protect company assets.
• Keep the store stocked and recover merchandise.
• Receive merchandise and help unload trucks for stock replenishment.
• Ensure a positive, safe, respectful environment and professional interactions.
• Maintain store cleanliness including bathrooms, floors, and trash.
