Job summary

Asda Barnstaple is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver for our store team. You’ll be at the heart of the customer experience, loading your van and delivering groceries directly to customers’ front doors with a smile.

This part-time, permanent role covers afternoons and requires a valid UK driving licence, good communication, and a positive, team-oriented attitude. You’ll join a busy, friendly environment with training provided.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Load the van and deliver to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Keep the van clean and fit for the next delivery.
• When busy, help the team with picking and packing online orders.
• Provide friendly, helpful customer service and contribute to a smooth operation.
