Job summary

Asda is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver in St Matthews. This part-time permanent role requires you to load your van, deliver to regular customers and ensure orders reach them with a smile. You'll be responsible for keeping the van clean, helping the team when busy, and maintaining high standards of customer service.

A valid UK driving licence is essential, and training will be provided to support your success. Hours are 22.5 per week with days shifts, including weekends.

Qualifications

• Valid UK driving licence (full or automatic) held for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail environment and on weekends/evenings.

Responsibilities

• Load and deliver groceries to customers' front doors with a friendly, helpful attitude.
• Keep the van clean and well-maintained for each shift.
• Support store team during busy periods with picking and packing online orders.

Whether you’re loading your van or delivering to your regular customers, you’ll play a vital role in the smooth running of our operation, serving customers and putting them at the heart of everything by delivering our products right to their front door with a smile. When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and whenweare really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
