Job summary

Asda Gravesend is seeking a Customer Delivery Driver to load vans and deliver orders to customers' doors with a friendly, proactive attitude.

You will work 36 hours per week in dayshift, with a UK driving licence (full or automatic) and entitlement to serve customers in a fast-paced environment. Training is provided and teamwork is essential for busy periods.

Qualifications

• A valid UK Driving Licence (Full or Automatic only) for at least 12 months with no more than 6 penalty points.
• A friendly and helpful approach to customer service.
• Willingness to work in a fast-paced customer service environment.
• Good communication skills and a team mindset.
• Flexibility to work a range of shifts, including weekends and evenings – no two days are the same.

Responsibilities

• Loading and delivering to customers' front doors with a smile.
• Keep van clean and fit for the next delivery.
• When busy, assist team with picking and packing online orders.

When you're not on the road, you'll make sure your van is clean and fit for the next delivery (don't worry, you don't need to be an expert mechanic – we'll give you all the training you need) and whenweare really busy, you'll be asked to help your team, picking and packing online orders.
