Job Description Summary: The Remote Part Time Customer Care Associate is responsible for providing world-class service in a leading-edge call center environment by processing incoming orders and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner to support the sale and marketing of our supplier brands.

Position Summary: The Remote Part Time Customer Care Associate is responsible for providing world-class service in a leading-edge call center environment by processing incoming orders and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner to support the sale and marketing of our supplier brands.

Position Hours: Monday - Thursday 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST

Job Responsibilities:
  1. Ensure that sales are captured by responding to customers and entering orders accurately and efficiently in SAP.
  2. Ensure customer inquiries are successfully resolved through the use of multiple customer support tools (including conducting research in SAP and/or contacting business units as appropriate).
  3. Maintain world-class standards by performing against department scorecards and metrics. Build and manage relationships with customers and contacts at each business unit to exceed service requirements.
  4. Establish and maintain excellent customer relations by developing rapport, actively listening, and providing consultative support and recommendations.
  5. Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential and suggesting alternatives for out-of-stock or limited items, informing customers of deals, etc.
  6. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Basic PC skills with MS Office and other computer programs.
  • No previous experience required.
  • Results-oriented with strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, pay attention to detail, and meet deadlines.
  • Sound judgment and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent training and experience.
  • 1-2 years experience in customer service.
  • Experience in consumer products or distribution industry.
Physical Requirements:
  • Regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, and use hands to operate a computer and telephone.
Competencies:
  • Accountability for meeting targets; work reviewed periodically.
  • Routine problems with available solutions.
