Position Summary:

The Remote Part Time Customer Care Associate is responsible for providing world-class service in a leading-edge call center environment by processing incoming orders and resolving customer inquiries in a courteous and professional manner to support the sale and marketing of our supplier brands.

Position Hours: Monday - Thursday 11:30 AM - 7:00 PM EST

Job Responsibilities:

1. Respond to customers and accurately enter orders in SAP to ensure sales are captured.
2. Resolve customer inquiries using multiple support tools, including SAP and contacting relevant business units.
3. Maintain high standards by meeting department scorecards and metrics, building relationships with customers and contacts.
4. Develop rapport and actively listen to customers, providing consultative support and recommendations.
5. Identify opportunities to increase customer retention, maintain confidence, and protect operations by keeping information confidential.
6. Sustain customer satisfaction by suggesting alternatives for out-of-stock items and informing about deals.
7. Perform other duties as assigned by supervisors.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Basic PC skills with MS Office and other programs
• No previous experience required
• Strong communication, results-oriented, and customer service skills
• Ability to multi-task, work independently or in a team, and meet deadlines
• Sound judgment and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume environment

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years in customer service
• Experience in consumer products or distribution industry

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, sit, talk, hear, and operate a computer and telephone

Competencies:
