Job summary

The Dave & Mary Alper Jewish Community Center (Alper JCC) in Miami is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor/Housekeeper for part-time afternoon/evening hours. You will maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for members, staff, and visitors, performing daily and deep cleaning across classrooms, restrooms, offices, and fitness areas.

Responsibilities include restocking supplies, waste disposal, window cleaning, pressure washing outdoor surfaces, and supporting event

Qualifications

• Prior custodial, housekeeping, or janitorial experience preferred.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Dependable and punctual.
• Experience with pressure cleaning equipment is a plus.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.

• Follow all safety procedures and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.
• Work efficiently, independently, and maintain high attention to detail.
• Collaborate with the maintenance and custodial team to ensure all areas meet JCC cleanliness standards.

The Dave & Mary Alper Jewish Community Center (Alper JCC) in Miami is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Custodian/Janitor/Housekeepr to join our Facilities team. This position plays a key role in maintaining a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for our members, staff, and visitors.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform daily and deep cleaning of classrooms, restrooms, offices, fitness areas, and community spaces.
• Sweep, mop, vacuum, dust, and disinfect all assigned areas.
• Restock restrooms and supply closets as needed.
