Job summary

Alper JCC Miami invites friendly, dependable individuals to join as Babysitting Room Attendants, providing safe, engaging care for children while families use our Fitness Center.

Shifts run weekdays 8:00 AM–11:30 AM and weekends 7:30 AM–11:30 AM; candidates should enjoy working with kids, be punctual, patient, and communicate well; CPR/First Aid preferred.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• CPR & First Aid certification, or willingness to become certified.
• Previous childcare or babysitting experience preferred.

• Provide attentive care and supervision for children ages 6 months to 6 years.
• Welcome families and provide excellent customer service.
• Engage children through reading, games, play, and age-appropriate activities.
• Maintain a safe, positive, and welcoming environment.
• Clean and sanitize toys, equipment, and play areas.
• Assist with general upkeep of the babysitting room.
• Follow all JCC safety and childcare procedures.

The Alper JCC Miami is looking for friendly, dependable, and energetic Babysitting Room Attendants to provide a safe, welcoming, and fun environment for children while their parents and caregivers enjoy our Fitness Center.

Available Shifts

• Weekdays: 8:00 AM – 11:30 AM
• Weekends: 7:30 AM – 11:30 AM

What You’ll Do

• Provide attentive care and supervision for children ages 6 months to 6 years.

We’re Looking For Someone Who

• Loves working with children and families.
• Is dependable, punctual, patient, and attentive.
• Has excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Is comfortable caring for children of varying ages, including infants and toddlers.
• Is able to safely lift and carry a child weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Is able to actively and attentively supervise children at all times.

Minimum Qualifications
