Associa's Riverlights community in Wilmington, NC is seeking a Part-Time Commercial Custodial Cleaner to maintain fitness rooms, restrooms, and shared spaces in a multi-use facility. The role is in-office with a flexible schedule and weekend coverage; compensation is $18 per hour, with shifts Thursday through Saturday 4pm–10pm (18 hours) and Sunday through Wednesday 5am–10am (20 hours) per week.

You will vacuum, mop, sanitize, replenish supplies, report maintenance issues, and assist with setup

Qualificações

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Teamwork and ability to follow schedules in a multi-area environment.

Shifts Available:

Thursday - Saturday 4pm-10pm Total 18 hours per week

Sunday - Wednesday 5am-10am Total 20 hours per week

Pay Rate:

18.00 hourly, firm.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Perform daily cleaning of fitness rooms, locker areas, showers, and restrooms, ensuring compliance with health and safety standards.
• Vacuum, mop, and sanitize floors; clean and disinfect high-touch surfaces (door handles, equipment, mats).
• Maintain cleanliness of shared equipment and storage areas.
• Manage waste disposal in compliance with facility protocols.
• Replenish supplies (soap, paper towels, cleaning chemicals) as needed.
• Report maintenance issues (e.g., plumbing leaks, broken fixtures) promptly.
• Perform minor maintenance tasks (e.g., replacing batteries, replacing light bulbs).
• Follow all safety and sanitation protocols.
• Work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, meeting cleaning schedules and quality standards.
• Assist with room setup and takedown for scheduled uses as needed
• Support events and activities as requested
• Serve as a backup when the Facilities Manager is off
• Other duties to support the community as assigned by the Facilities Manager

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; experience in commercial cleaning preferred.
• Ability to lift and carry heavy equipment and supplies.
• Strong attention to detail and adherence to safety protocols.
• Teamwork and ability to follow schedules in a multi-area environment.
• Knowledge of infection control and waste management practices.
• Reliable transportation and ability to work flexible hours.

Work Environment:

Commercial, multi-use facility with high foot traffic; may require early mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on facility hours.
