Job summary

SBM Management Services, LP is seeking a Part Time Custodian to maintain cleanliness and sanitation across assigned areas. The role requires performing janitorial duties, operating cleaning equipment, and following the daily schedule.

The incumbent will handle hazardous waste activities, report safety concerns, and work collaboratively with supervisors and teammates. Requirements include no specific education, 3–6 months training preferred, and a valid driver’s license may be needed for travel

Qualifications

No specific education requirement but 3–6 months training or experience preferred.
Strong verbal and written communication skills are expected.
Bilingual is a plus and can help with diverse client sites.

Responsibilities

Perform janitorial duties as assigned.
Follow daily schedule and complete tasks.
Handle hazardous waste: collect, classify, sort, store, ship, label, clean, recycle, pack.
Operate motorized cleaning equipment.
Maintain daily upkeep of assigned area.
Report incidents and hazardous conditions to supervisor.
Follow safety rules, policies, and procedures.
Work as part of a team and support shift lead.
Fill in during staff shortage and complete punch-list items.
Present professional appearance and conduct; communicate with staff and customers professionally.
