Job summary

RoShay Services is seeking a reliable Custodian to uphold cleanliness across buildings in Mississippi, including interior and exterior spaces and common areas.

The role requires a high school diploma or equivalent and at least one year of custodial care experience. Strong knowledge of cleaning processes, safety practices, and attention to detail is essential. Excellent communication and ability to follow instructions within Facilities Management are also important.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, mop, and scrub floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside and outside buildings.
• Clean and service lavatories and restrooms.
• Clean and dust furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, door trims, and chalkboards.
• Collect and dispose of trash and debris appropriately.

• Sweeps, mops, and scrubs floors, stairs, and other surfaces inside and outside buildings
• Cleans and services lavatories and restrooms
• Cleans and dusts furniture, exhibit cases, pictures, door trims, and chalkboards
• Vacuums rugs and carpets; shampoos rugs periodically with appropriate equipment
• Washes windowsills, corridor door glass, and entrance door trim
• Cleans interior wall surfaces and reports repair needs
• Collects and disposes of trash and debris appropriately
• Performs other related duties as assigned
