This position is considered Essential Personnel under the LRCVB Inclement weather policy.
JOB OBJECTIVE: Join the team that keeps the heart of Little Rock shining! As a Custodial and Housekeeping Specialist with the Little Rock Convention & Visitors Bureau, you’ll play a vital role in creating clean, welcoming, and memorable spaces for events, visitors, and guests from around the world. From setting the stage for conventions and concerts to keeping facilities spotless and event-ready, your work helps make every experience exceptional. Essential Functions
- Cleans and maintains various areas within an assigned LRCVB facility to include but not limited to office areas, rest rooms, meeting rooms, public spaces, exhibit halls, ballrooms, River Market to include the Food Court area, Ottenheimer building, and the Robinson Center.
- Sweeps and mops floors, vacuums carpeted areas; dusts baseboards; cleans windows; cleans and sanitizes tables and chairs including in the Food Court area and performs other light custodial and related duties
- Buffs, strips and waxes hard surface, as required.
- Maintains appropriate cleanliness of public and meeting spaces before, during and after events in compliance with applicable guidelines, policies, and procedures.
- Completes all assigned duties from applicable checklists as required.
- Cleans and maintains all windows, doors and blinds.
- Empties and cleans waste receptacles, recycle bins and trashcans; replaces plastic liners.
- Maintains an inventory of cleaning supplies and equipment; notifies supervisor of supplies needed.
- Interacts in a positive and responsive manner with clients, attendees of events, seminar speakers, and the general public.
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITIES: None.
Minimum Qualifications, Additional Requirements And Supervisory Responsibilities
These knowledge, skills, and abilities are usually, although not always, acquired through one (1) year of custodial experience in office buildings, meeting facilities, etc., or related area. Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered.

- Must be available to work evenings, holidays and weekends as required.

- Buy-up 2 Plan: $1,000 deductible (in network), $25 co-pay for PCP - $50 co-pay for specialist; Prescription co-pays: $15, $45, $70, $70 copay; no additional Rx deductible.
- High Deductible Plan: $2,500 deductible (in network), Prescriptions: Tier 1 10% after deductible; Tier 2 20% after deductible; Tier 3 30% after deductible; Tier 4 $80 co-pay after deductible

- Delta Vision - $0 deductible – co-pays and allowances; $10 co-pay for well vision exam (once every 12 months) plus $20 co-pay for materials lenses & frames or contact lens fitting & evaluation
- $150 allowance for frames (once every 24 month frames/12 month lenses)
