Job summary

Goodwill Industries of South Texas Inc. is seeking part-time, non-exempt custodial staff to clean facilities at the Edinburg location. Two shifts are available: 1:00 p.m. – 6:00 p.m.

and 3:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m., with duties including sweeping, mopping, restroom cleaning, trash removal, and supply restocking. Candidates must meet disability-related eligibility under the state-set-aside program. Responsibilities include following OSHA and agency safety procedures, maintaining clean facilities, and

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of acceptable cleaning standards and maintenance.
• Must be able to meet security clearances for Goodwill and customers.
• Able to read, write and communicate effectively.
• Able to work flexible days and hours.

Responsibilities

• Sweep, vacuum, and mop floors; clean and restock bathrooms; and clean windows.
• Prepare cleaning solutions and manage waste according to procedures.
• Monitor inventory and relay materials and supplies needed to management.
• Adhere to OSHA standards and agency policies and safety procedures.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
