Job summary

Montgomery Blair High School in Silver Spring is seeking a Building Service Worker (Shift I) for a 4-hour daily, 12-month schedule. Under general supervision, you will perform building cleaning, facilities and grounds maintenance within the school. On-the-job training is provided.

This role involves lifting up to 50 lbs, operating custodial equipment, and readiness to report during inclement weather. A high school diploma is preferred; ninth grade completion is required.

Qualifications

• Completion of the ninth grade required. High School or GED diploma preferred.
• Experience in general cleaning of buildings and grounds.
• Emergency personnel duties during inclement weather may apply.

Responsibilities

• Clean interior of buildings and maintain grounds in schools and admin buildings.
