Job summary

Monarch Healthcare Management is seeking a part-time Culinary Service Cook to prepare and serve meals for residents, guests, and staff. Shift 10:30am–6:30pm, providing meals that respect therapeutic diets and resident preferences while maintaining safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Must have a desire and commitment to work with geriatric residents and understand their special needs.
• Must qualify for employment, after criminal background study, per guidelines of the Minnesota Department of Human Services.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, serve, and/or be responsible for the preparation of foods for residents, guests, and employees.
• Follow direction from Culinary Services Director and coordinate with interdisciplinary team to meet therapeutic diet orders and residents’ preferences.
• Ensure food service standards through cost, quality, and quantity controls while preserving resident dignity.
