Buckner Retirement Services Community in Fort Worth is seeking a Part Time Culinary Server to provide warm hospitality to residents, take accurate orders, and support dining operations with grace.

Qualifications

• Completes and meets required training and certification requirements; e.g. food handler’s certificate.
• Requires ability to read, write and understand business documents in English.
• Requires ability to communicate verbally with residents, families, visitors and co-workers.
• Requires ability to move food serving and preparation equipment as needed; up to 50 pounds occasionally, 20 pounds frequently, and 10 pounds continuously.

Responsibilities

• Provide excellent guest relations and hospitality.
• Describe menu items and maintain extensive menu knowledge.
• Take and relay food and beverage orders accurately via POS.
• Assist kitchen and dining staff to serve promptly.
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation in dining areas and kitchen as needed.
• Work well as part of a team.
• Receive and store groceries and rotate stock.
• Identify and report safety issues to prevent incidents.
