American Senior Communities in Indiana is seeking a part-time Culinary Aide for the day shift to help prepare and serve nutritious meals and maintain a clean, sanitary kitchen.

You will partner with culinary leaders, help set up trays, assist with service, and support residents' dining experience while adhering to safety and sanitation standards.

Qualifications

• Certification in Sanitation/Safe Food Handling is preferred unless required by State and Federal agencies.
• Prior restaurant server experience is preferred.
• Commitment to customer service is required.
• Willingness to perform routine tasks and work alongside culinary team and leaders.

Responsibilities

• Partner with culinary leaders to meet residents' dining needs and provide a positive dining experience.
• Assist in preparation and portions of meal items according to menu and resident diet requirements.
• Set up trays and carts in preparation for service to residents.
• Work with service staff to collect soiled trays and wash dishes.
• Maintain a clean and sanitary workplace by cleaning equipment as needed.
