Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is seeking a CT Tech for a part-time day shift (Saturday and Sunday from 8:00 to 20:30 and Monday from 8:00 to 16:30). The CT Tech performs CT examinations per physician orders using advanced CT equipment, with attention to patient needs and age-related considerations.

The successful candidate must hold Oregon Medical Imaging License, ARRT certifications in radiography and other eligible areas, BLS, and will complete any required registrations

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License from Oregon State Board upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography (ARRT) or National Registered Technologist - Nuclear Medicine Technology.
• Within 1 year of hire: National Registered Technologist - Computed Tomography or CNMT/CT/NMT certification within time frame.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations per physician orders using CT equipment, considering patient age and conditions.
• Applies imaging factors and techniques to produce optimal images while ensuring patient safety.
