Job summary

Providence Milwaukie Hospital in Milwaukie, OR is hiring a part-time CT Tech for Saturdays and Sundays 8am-8:30pm and Mondays 8am-4:30pm. A $4,000 sign-on bonus for eligible external candidates is offered in addition to Providence's benefits package.

The CT Tech will perform CT examinations, follow physician orders, and consider patient needs to produce high-quality images while maintaining safety and patient comfort. Relevant imaging licenses and BLS are required.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.
• Oregon Medical Imaging License upon hire.
• ARRT Radiography certification upon hire.
• ARRT Nuclear Medicine Technology certification upon hire.
• Within 1 year of hire: CT or Nuclear Medicine Technology Certification Board.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT examinations according to physicians orders, using CT equipment and adjusting imaging factors for patient needs.
• Applies knowledge to imaging technique and patient care to produce optimal images.

Education

Oregon Medical Imaging License

ARRT Radiography Certification

ARRT Nuclear Medicine Certification

BLS - American Heart Association

CT Technologist Certification (within 1 year)

Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification (within 1 year)
