Job summary

IHA in Georgia is seeking a PRN CT technologist to cover staff PAL, holidays and on-call shifts. The role requires hospital experience and the ability to perform routine CT scans, x-ray exams, fluoroscopy and OR procedures.

Under the supervision of a Radiologist, you will perform CT procedures with professional judgment, assist in biopsies, drain placements, injections, and 3D angiography reformats for accurate diagnosis.

Qualifications

• ARRT-registered or registry-eligible.
• Graduate of formal Radiographic technology training in an AMA-Approved school.
• One year hospital environment experience preferred; radiologic competence demonstrated.

Responsibilities

• Under Radiologist supervision, performs CT procedures with minimal oversight.
• Executes radiographic procedures requiring independent judgment for diagnosis.
• Performs routine CT scans on pediatric to geriatric patients, including trauma.
• Assists radiologist with biopsies, drain placements, injections and markings.
• Performs angiography studies of brain, neck and chest with 3D reformats.
