Job summary
A leading oncology care provider in Ohio is looking for a CT Technologist to accurately perform CT scans, maintain patient safety, and document procedures. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality imaging and compliance with safety standards, while also engaging effectively with patients. The ideal candidate is required to have a registration as a CT technologist and should ideally possess a degree in Radiology Technology, alongside excellent communication skills. This part-time role offers a flexible work atmosphere and the chance to join a growing network of cancer care professionals.
Qualifications
Minimum of 1 year active experience as a CT Technologist required.
Will consider recent graduate eligible to sit for their registry.
Must pass CT Registry exam within 6 months if recent graduate.
Responsibilities
Acquire quality diagnostic CT images according to orders.
Ensure safety in patient care and compliance with ALARA principles.
Document all aspects of image acquisition within the patient’s record.
Assist with patient scheduling and maintain equipment safety.
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Fluency in English
Ability to communicate in Spanish
Education
Graduate from an accredited School of CT Technology
BS Degree in Radiology Technology
Certified as a Registered CT Technologist by the ARRT
State CT license if applicable
Current CPR/BLS certifications
