Job summary

HSHS St. Mary’s Decatur Hospital is seeking a CT Technologist to join our Imaging team. The ideal candidate will position patients, operate CT equipment, and obtain high-quality diagnostic images while following physician orders. New graduates are encouraged to apply, with CT credential preferred.

Placement and compensation will be based on experience and qualifications. Part-time schedule is 24 hrs/week with 5-hour shifts, 10/11am to 3/4pm, at St. Mary’s Decatur, IL.

Qualifications

• Associates degree in allied health, radiologic science, or a certificate program is required.
• 1 year of radiology experience is preferred.
• WI: Licensed Radiographer required by DSPS.
• IL: Accreditation (or Temporary Accreditation) in Medical Radiation Technology required.
• ARRT RT(R) certification/registry eligibility required and CT credential preferred.
• BLS required.

Responsibilities

• Position patients and operate CT equipment to obtain high‑quality diagnostic images.
• Follow physician orders and ensure proper patient positioning and safety.
• Provide exceptional patient care and maintain imaging documentation.
