Job summary

WellSpan Health is seeking a part-time CT Technologist for the Computed Tomography Department at WellSpan Ephrata Community Hospital. The role performs routine and advanced CT procedures, manages patient history, explains procedures, and maintains documentation in the EHR.

Under physician supervision, you will administer IV contrast, recognize and manage reactions, schedule cases, and ensure safety and quality of imaging. On-call duties may be required with hospital-defined terms.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 years progressive responsibility in a diagnostic imaging department.
• ARRT CT or NMTCB CT certification upon hire; BLS upon hire.
• Accredited program in radiologic technology with CT training upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Performs CT scan studies with patient history; explains procedures and documents in EHR.
• Administers intravenous contrast under physician supervision; recognizes and treats reactions.
• Schedules cases coordinating with other examinations.
• Positions and transfers patients; ensures radiation safety and comfort.
• On-call duties as defined by each hospital.
• Mentors CT Technician and CT Tech I.
