Job summary

MercyOne Northeast Iowa is seeking a part-time Radiologic Technologist to perform multiple imaging procedures and support Radiologists in a busy facility. You will prepare patients and rooms, acquire radiographs, and assist with CT-guided biopsies and advanced imaging.

Adherence to safety policies and continuing education are required, with a focus on patient-centered care. The role requires ARRT/NMTCB registration and an active IDPH permit, with mandatory reporting, BLS, and CT certification

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiography program.
• ARRT or NMTCB registration with IDPH permit to practice; Mandatory Reporter; BLS; ARRT or NMTCB CT board certification required within 24 months of CT hire

Responsibilities

• Prepare patient, room, and equipment for procedure.
• Collect history data from patient and provide education.
• Provide patient care per department policy.
• Take radiographic exposures.
• Perform multiple imaging procedures and assist Radiologist with procedures.
• Perform trauma scanning.
• Assist with CT guided biopsies.
• Perform 3D and angiographic scanning procedures.
• Provide radiologist with pertinent information for interpretation.
• Adhere to safety, infection control and colleague health policies.
