Qualifications

• Active PA RN license in good standing or multi-state licensure via eNLC.
• Certification as a Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) by the NBCRNA.
• PALS certification as required; ACLS certification also required.
• Additional employment requirements include background clearances and HIPAA/privacy training.

Responsibilities

• Assesses, plans, evaluates, and implements anesthetic management for all patients.
• Provides accurate medical record documentation.
• Monitors patients under anesthesia and addresses abnormal responses in collaboration with attending physicians.
• Participates in performance/quality improvement initiatives.
• Adheres to nursing and AA nurse anesthetists ethical standards and safety regulations.
• Acts as a clinical resource to the interprofessional team and mentors staff or students.
