Job summary

Maine Veterans Homes is seeking compassionate Certified Residential Medication Aides (CRMA) and Personal Support Specialists (PSS) to join our Residential Care team. The CRMA/PSS role combines medication administration with ADL support to promote dignity and independence for residents.

The part-time position averages 20 hours per week with a rotating schedule, including evenings and every other weekend. We offer competitive pay, MainePERS pension, generous PTO, health benefits, tuition

Qualifications

• Must hold dual certification including a current 40-hour CRMA and PSS or CNA.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Basic computer skills for MAR documentation and communication.

Responsibilities

• Administer medications accurately and safely per state regulations and facility policies.
• Monitor medication effects and document MARs.
• Assist residents with ADLs including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Support mobility, transfers, and meals when required.
• Provide companionship and emotional support.
