Job summary

Wasatch Behavioral Health in Provo, Utah is seeking an in-office Credentialing Specialist to support Medicaid enrollment, NPI registration, and credentialing for selected private networks at our Westpark Family Clinic. This part-time role offers a wage of $21.36–$27.08 per hour and opportunities to ensure compliant, timely credentialing and reimbursement.

You will assist the full-time Credentialing Specialist with file creation, verification, and maintenance, while collaborating with providers

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in administrative support, healthcare credentialing, billing or related field preferred.
• Strong attention to detail, organization and time management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and database systems.
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and work independently or in a team.

Responsibilities

• Assist with provider enrollment, credentialing and recredentialing for Medicaid, NPI and private networks.
• Review credentialing applications for accuracy, completeness and compliance.
• Verify licenses, certifications, NPIs and other documents via primary sources.
• Create, maintain and audit credentialing files and databases.
• Track application statuses and follow up to meet deadlines.
• Support funding coordination and determine client out-of-pocket costs.
• Update provider and client data in EMR and internal systems as changes occur.
• Provide funding information to providers about clients for scheduled appointments.
