Responsibilities

POSITION OVERVIEW:

Are you a TikTok/Instagram junkie? Can you name creators, big and small, doing big things in the social space? Are you the one DMing all your friends the latest influencer content? Do you love the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center, and think others would love them, too? Are we asking too many questions off the bat? If you said yes to all of this, then we want you. The New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center seek a motivated individual to join their Content team, a collaborative unit where all voices, minds and ideas contribute to the collective output of both brands.

This team is seeking a creative Creator Outreach and Management Specialist, on a part-time basis, to join one of the sports and entertainment industry’s best social media teams. Reporting directly to the Senior Manager, Social Media, this position is responsible for assisting the Marketing and Content teams with creator-led efforts. This individual will assist the team with outreach and creator management, including but not limited to serving as an on-site liaison to various creators and influencers during New Jersey Devils games and Prudential Center events.

RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO THE BELOW:

• Serve as on-site point of contact for creators, influencers, and celebrities during New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center events
• Assist the Marketing team with maintaining active lists of creators, influencers, and celebrities relevant to the New Jersey Devils and Prudential Center.
• Assist with the development and execution of creator, influencer, and celebrity-led content opportunities
• Track creator, influencer, and celebrity-led content data, including impressions and engagements on various social media channels
• Assist the Content and Marketing teams with creator, influencer, and celebrity communications, inclusive of ensuring content production dates are communicated to internal and external stakeholders
• Join Marketing and Content teams in brainstorms and ideation of campaigns and social concepts
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• 2+ years’ experience in Social Media and/or creator and influencer management, preferably for a sports and/or entertainment organization
• Bachelor’s/Post-Secondary Degree in marketing, new/digital media, or related field or relevant years of experience
• Professional experience using all major Social Media platforms (TikTok, Instagram, Twitter, Facebook, etc.)
• Experience using Asana and creator/influencer tracking platforms a plus
• Passionate about a career in the sports and entertainment industry
• A deep understanding of the creator and influencer space, especially within the Tri-State area
• Expects highest quality performance from self and others

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• Work Environment: This position predominantly requires that work be performed from the Prudential Center/New Jersey Devils offices, but attendance at events taking place in the arena or offsite, including on weekends and/or holidays, may be required.
• Physical Requirements: This position requires the ability to lift up to 15 pounds.

COMPENSATION AND BENEFITS:

The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $27 and $29/hour. Hourly and salaried non-exempt employees will also be paid overtime pay when working qualifying overtime hours. Base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience.

This position will be an “at-will position” and the Company reserves the right to modify base pay (as well as any other discretionary payment or compensation program) at any time, including for reasons related to individual performance, Company or individual department/team performance, and market factors.
