Job summary

Hawthorne Health is seeking a part-time Clinical Research Coordinator for our Springfield, MO site. The role will lead day-to-day trial activities, with a flexible mix of remote and on-site duties as activity grows.

You will oversee investigator coordination, sponsor communication, patient flow, regulatory support, and site operations, with support from a centralized operations team. Responsibilities include phlebotomy, data entry, and regulatory tasks.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1–2 years of experience as a Clinical Research Coordinator, in a similar environment.
• Phlebotomy certification or demonstrated competency in venipuncture (pediatric and adult required).
• Strong understanding of clinical trial operations, regulatory documentation, and data management.
• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and time management skills.
• Strong interpersonal and communication abilities with patients and clinical staff.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and electronic data capture systems.
• CPR certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate all site clinical trial activities.
• Phlebotomy on patients following safety protocols.
• Recruit, screen, enroll participants per criteria.
• Schedule and conduct study visits per protocol.
• Collect, process, and ship samples per guidelines.
• Maintain study documents and regulatory binders.
• Enter data into EDC accurately.
• Communicate with sponsors and monitors.
• Ensure compliance with GCP, ICH, FDA, IRB.
• Assist monitoring visits and audits.
